The purpose of the role is to keep income and expenditure administration accurate, timely, and complete.
This role provides administration support for a portfolio of contracts and agreements. You will work with the finance team to process payment schedules, raise invoices, track amounts owing, produce financial reports, and close completed agreements in line with approved systems, internal policy, and contractual terms.

A large, established New Zealand employer with a substantial volume of contracts and projects. Finance is delivered through a model working with multiple units.
The Role
- Enter payment schedules and purchase orders into the contract system to support invoicing
- Run regular invoice reports from the system
- Generate accounts receivable invoices from payment schedules or actual expenditure
- Track amounts owing, follow up unpaid invoices, report status, and escalate as required
- Provide expenditure information to internal stakeholders
- Produce transaction analysis reports for tracking and reporting
- Prepare financial information for reporting to external parties
- Coordinate contract closures
- Liaise with external parties on invoicing and purchase-order issues
- Generate periodic financial distributions of related income
- Work with internal teams so issues are resolved in a timely way
- Upto 4 years’ experience in a finance, accounts receivable, or contract-administration environment
- Experience with databases and ERP finance systems, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced Excel, plus accurate data entry
- Experience supporting contract or project administration
- A qualification at NCEA / National Certificate Level 4 or above in accounting or finance (or equivalent practical experience)
- Ability to work to policy, process, and contractual requirements and to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
