The Opportunity
This 6-month part-time role offers the chance to play a key support function within a busy finance team, handling accounts receivable processes alongside general administration. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply and further develop their finance administration skills in a role that combines routine processing with varied ad hoc tasks and system support.

The Role
  • Processing creditor invoices, preparing and executing weekly and monthly payment runs, and completing creditor reconciliations
  • Generating tenant charges, reconciling payments, allocating receipts and managing debtor accounts within the organisation’s systems
  • Uploading bulk invoices and rent charges from integrated operational systems
  • Providing rental arrears reporting and supporting month-end close activities
  • Administering staff vehicles, IT hardware, tenant rent records, tenant bonds and rent changes
  • Assisting with the annual audit, system upgrades, issue resolution, testing and raising support tickets
  • Managing general departmental administration and ad hoc tasks as required
  • Supporting health & safety, risk management and organisational values in daily work
Your Profile
  • Experience in accounts receivable functions
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems
  • Competent IT skills with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive, accurate and reliable approach to work
  • A genuine interest in contributing to a team environment that supports community outcomes (desirable)
  • Candidates will need valid working rights for New Zealand.
