The Role
- Lead and manage a team responsible for end-to-end processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Oversee daily operational workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to required standards in invoice processing, payments, receipts, reconciliations, and issue resolution
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development guidance to team members to support a productive team environment
- Monitor processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support periodic financial close activities
- Uphold service standards and contribute to broader team and organisational objectives
- Experience leading or supervising a team in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar transactional processing functions
- Strong people leadership skills with a calm, organised, and supportive approach
- Solid technical understanding of AP/AR processes, including invoice handling, reconciliations, and compliance requirements
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting
- Preferably hold a relevant qualification (e.g. accounting or business-related) or equivalent practical experience
- Candidates will need valid working rights for New Zealand.
