The Role
- Manage and enhance business intelligence reporting on Snowflake and Power BI, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and readily available to support effective financial planning and decision-making.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including process automation and system integrations across platforms such as Sage Intacct, to improve efficiency, data integrity, and user experience.
- Oversee cybersecurity monitoring and risk management for finance data systems, coordinating training programmes and supporting compliance with governance requirements.
- Deliver training, coaching, and practical guidance to colleagues on system usage, data best practices, and security protocols, helping build a confident, data-literate team.
- Drive continuous process improvement by identifying automation opportunities, streamlining workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise system performance.
- Provide expert advice on data structures, governance, and integration, ensuring seamless data flows and high standards of information integrity.
- Partner with leadership on IT change initiatives, supporting smooth adoption of new capabilities and aligning technology with organisational goals.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in information systems, data management, finance technology or a related field, plus hands-on experience managing BI and reporting platforms such as Power BI and Snowflake.
- Strong skills in data governance, integration, and cybersecurity practices, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions that teams can easily adopt.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation, process automation, or IT change initiatives, ideally with exposure to financial or enterprise systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and a collaborative, service-oriented approach that builds trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
