The Role
- Support accurate and timely monthly financial reporting across the group, including review of accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to annual accounts preparation, audit management, and LINZ reporting.
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and insightful variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
- Oversee payroll approval, statutory compliance (GST, FBT, tax), imputation credits, and shareholder communications.
- Drive process improvements, system implementations, and stronger financial controls.
- Provide commercial analysis and due diligence support for potential business acquisition Continues.
- Offer leadership and training within the finance team while reporting directly to the GM Finance.
- Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a commercial financial accountant role.
- Proven ability to provide insightful advice to managers and business leaders.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive team focus.
- Experience guiding and developing others is highly valued.
