Reporting to an experienced finance leader, this position provides the opportunity to take ownership of key financial accounting activities across a complex, multi-market environment. The role offers exposure well beyond routine transactional accounting, allowing you to strengthen your technical expertise while gaining experience in the financial challenges and opportunities that come with supporting an internationally operating business.

The Role
- Month end accounting and reporting to management and the board
- Assisting with budget and forecast processes, including ownership of cash-flow forecasting
- Supporting the year end annual accounts and audit process, and also with other external compliance activities
- Routine and ad-hoc analysis & reporting, including working with internal stakeholders
- Contributing to systems change and improvement activities
- Applying a continuous improvement mindset to all controls and processes in order to achieve positive business outcomes
Your Profile
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable prior experience with month end/year end accounting, management reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Prior experience with ERP systems, with implementation/change experience viewed favourably
- Strong written and verbal skills, including the ability to effectively communication with a range of stakeholders
- Hold full, unrestricted working rights in New Zealand independent of a job offer
