- Separation and divorce
- Care of children
- Protection orders and family violence matters
- Spousal maintenance
- Relationship property and contracting-out agreements
- PPPR applications
The firm is looking for a lawyer ranging from a strong graduate through to approximately four years’ post-qualification experience in family law or a closely related area (litigation or trusts experience will also be considered). Strong graduates who demonstrate real maturity, resilience, a “get up and go” attitude, and excellent technical ability are encouraged to apply.
You will need:
- A genuine passion for family law and a client-focused, empathetic approach
- Solid academic and practical ability, with the maturity and wisdom to thrive in a busy practice
- A clear understanding of billable hours and a willingness to work productively to meet targets
- A positive outlook, strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment
What's on Offer
- A collaborative, team-first culture where your development is genuinely invested in
- Flexible working arrangements, including support for returning parents and openness to alternative patterns for the right candidate
- The opportunity to build a rewarding career alongside expert practitioners
- A friendly, approachable workplace with excellent coffee and morning teas
If you are a capable, empathetic, and driven family lawyer (or near-qualified graduate) ready for your next career step in a firm that values people and purpose, we would love to hear from you.
