The Opportunity
This contract role offers the chance to play a key part in ensuring smooth financial operations through hands-on transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting, while contributing to process improvements in a supportive environment.
We are seeking an immediate start for a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join a dynamic team focused on delivering accurate and timely financial processing and support.

The Role
  • Process income, expenses, accounts receivable and payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Generate and manage invoices, credits, payments, and associated journals
  • Perform reconciliations of debtors, creditors, bank transactions, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly reporting including aged receivables and support month-end processes
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records in financial systems, including supplier and customer details
  • Assist with GST calculations, fixed assets, accruals, and other ad-hoc financial tasks
  • Support internal controls, audit requirements, and process efficiency initiatives
  • Provide general financial and administrative assistance to the wider finance team
Your Profile
  • Start immediately, can commit to a contract into 2027
  • Certificate, diploma in business/accounting or at least 3 years’ experience in a finance-related role
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Solid understanding of accrual accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Full clean NZ driver licence
  • Candidates must have valid working rights for New Zealand
