The Role
- Support month-end processes including journals, reconciliations, and closing activities
- Manage debtors and accounts receivable functions
- Perform general ledger work and maintain accurate asset-related costing where applicable
- Process monthly commissions and provide payroll support on a constant cycle
- Assist with HR coordination tasks including onboarding and contract administration
- Provide backup for bank reconciliations and accounts payable
- Undertake general administration duties and support process improvement projects
- Work across multiple areas of the business as needed, including occasional support for additional operational units
- Solid practical experience in accounting support or finance administration
- Previous exposure to payroll and HR coordination
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Quick learner who is proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a small team environment
- Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
- Professional presentation and a self-starter attitude
- Candidates must have valid working rights for New Zealand
