The Company

The Role
  • Monitor marketing spend to ensure it stays on track and under control.
  • Verify daily credit card payments and keep cashflow records accurate and up to date.
  • Proactively identify and address potential cashflow gaps or upcoming obligations.
  • Manage the exclusive brand programme, ensuring timely payments from partners.
  • Prepare and present financial updates to the board and participate in weekly finance meetings covering cashflow, payables, and GST/IRD obligations.
  • Provide guidance and light oversight to the finance team while reviewing work alongside the admin and management accountant.
  • Collaborate across the business (marketing, sales, etc.) while upholding fairness and preventing any unauthorised favours or inconsistencies.
Your Profile
  • Support and oversee monthly cycles. 
  • Experienced management accountant or finance professional with solid budgeting and financial management experience (company-specific processes can be taught by the team).
  • Comfortable handling pressure, having difficult conversations when needed, and constructively pushing back while keeping relationships positive.
  • Strong attention to detail, high focus, and proficiency with Xero, Power BI (as a user), Excel, and shared online documents.
  • Proactive, organised, and committed to accuracy and robust financial controls.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a busy environment.
