The Role
- Lead accurate, timely end‑to‑end payroll processing for NZ, AU, and the UK, including salaries, allowances, bonuses, terminations, and statutory compliance
- Manage superannuation, KiwiSaver, pension contributions, PAYE, tax withholding, National Insurance, and retirement schemes
- Prepare and submit STP, IRD filings, HMRC RTI, and other statutory reporting
- Complete payroll month‑end and year‑end procedures, reconciliations, variance analysis, and GL costing
- Support financial close activities and provide ad‑hoc payroll reporting and analysis
- Drive payroll process improvements and maintain documentation
- Strengthen controls and resilience across multi‑jurisdiction finance operations
Your Profile
You are a technically strong, detail‑driven payroll professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑country environment. You bring:
- Proven experience processing payroll in New Zealand (with training provided for AU and UK)
- High proficiency with payroll systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy under pressure, and a calm, proactive approach
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team
