You will be responsible for leading client engagements and ensuring that compliance, advisory and project work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, with successful client outcomes as the key focus.
This is a role that would suit a people / client orientated accountant, who wants to utilise their technical knowledge at the front end of the organisation where you will play a key role is solving business issues and providing commercial advice to clients.
Whilst there will be a level of compliance work involved, the ideal candidate, whilst well-grounded in compliance accounting, will ideally have an appetite to be involved in more genuine advisory work and keen to further develop existing client relationships.

Your Role
- Leading client meetings, ensuring that they are being looked after in terms of compliance work being delivered and supporting them on advisory projects
- Exploring opportunities to provide existing clients with more value-add / advisory services where required
- Reviewing compliance accounts and providing support / feedback to more junior members of staff
- Support the Regional Director in ensuring the firm is delivering on its strategy and meeting its commercial goals
Your Profile
- CA qualified with 3+ years’ experience within a Public Practice environment
- Be a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities to further support clients on advisory projects
- Have a strong understanding of accounting and business principles with a proven track record of delivering high quality work for clients
- Preferably have had some experience in overseeing staff and reviewing compliance accounts
- Hold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand
