This is a key individual contributor role focused on bridging financial processes with SAP systems expertise. You will investigate business needs, define clear requirements, support system optimisation, and deliver insights that support planning and reporting across a global organisation.

The Role
- Provide ongoing support for SAP financial systems, including troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
- Conduct systems reviews to identify discrepancies or improvement areas and collaborate with IT and external partners on upgrades, patches, and integrations
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud financial module work, including configuration aligned to business needs
- Analyse financial processes for automation, efficiency, and cost opportunities; document processes, configurations, and user guidance
- Gather, validate, and document requirements; model processes; create functional specifications; and support solution implementation, testing, and transition
- Extract, transform, and analyse financial data from SAP systems; design and generate reports using SAC or other BI tools; and provide insights for performance improvement
- Create training materials and conduct sessions for end users on SAP financial modules
Your Profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, IT or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- SAP FICO functional expertise
- Prior business analysis experience in an ICT environment and experience defining ICT solutions aligned to identified business needs
- Knowledge of SAP reporting tools (such as CDS, Datasphere, or SAC) preferred
- Experience with process improvement, requirements documentation, and supporting system changes
- Valid working rights for New Zealand
