The Opportunity
You’ve been managing debtor ledgers, chasing payments, reconciling statements and sorting customer queries for long enough to know what good AR work feels like.
I’ve got two Accounts Receivable opportunities right now. Different businesses, different setups, but both need someone who actually enjoys the work and wants to do it well.
The Role
You’ll own the day-to-day AR process: raising invoices, applying payments, following up on overdue accounts, reconciling statements, and dealing with the queries that land on your desk. You’ll also get the chance to tidy up processes that are a bit messy and help the wider finance team keep cash moving. One role has more senior flavour, mentoring others and improving how things run. The other is solid hands-on AR where accuracy and relationships matter.
You’ll use the usual tools (Xero or similar, Excel, email) and talk to both internal people and external customers. Some days will be steady. Others will be busy when month-end hits or a big account needs sorting.
Your Profile
These roles reward people who like clear ownership, steady variety, and seeing the direct result of their work on the business’s cash position. You’ll work with finance teams that value getting it right over ticking boxes, and there’s room to suggest better ways of doing things.
